City of North Bonneville Planning Commission NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Zoning Comprehensive Update and Periodic Review A public hearing in front of the city council is set for Tuesday, August 25, 2026, to be held in person at 7 pm at City Hall, and virtually as an online Teams Meeting; details on how to join the virtual meeting will be posted on the City’s website. This matter addresses the next step on our comprehensive update and periodic review of the City’s Zoning Code as required under the authority of the WAC 365-195-900 through 925, consistent with the implementing rules and RCW 35A.63.070. The City has prepared a draft Zoning amendment to satisfy state requirements, to keep the city zoning codes current with changes in state laws and rules, changes in other City plans and regulations, and other changes to local circumstances, and to reflect community input. Upon final action by the planning commission, the Department of Commerce will review and comment on the amended document. The goals, policies, regulations, and other designations of the new Zoning Code will amend the current version, last amended in Ordinance 880 (part) 2005, and will be codified in Title 20 of the North Bonneville Municipal Code.
